Denali was surrendered to the shelter along with his 7 siblings by an owner who could not care for them. They all LOVE laying with their bellies up cuddling with their siblings! Denali and his siblings have the same personality traits and interest, so they will share the same Biography information. Denali is a young male dog with lots of love to give. He is a very affectionate and friendly dog who loves to play and take walks. He is loyal and gentle and would be a great addition to a family. He's a clever dog who is always up for an adventure but also loves to cuddle up. Denali can be independent and free-spirited when he's outside but will always come running when it's time to come inside to cuddle. He's a very sweet dog with lots of love to give and will make a great companion. The Catahoula breed is very nurturing, sweet, gentle and smart. Denali is in great health and ready to be adopted into his forever home. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society. Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
