Description

Shane is a very special kitty to the staff here at TJO. He arrived as one of our Wound of Unknown Origin (WUO) kitties with significant injuries to his head. Because our veterinarian determined his wounds were caused by another animal, Shane completed a four-month Rabies Quarantine to ensure he had not been exposed to the rabies virus. Thankfully, he came through it like a champ and is now ready to find the loving home he deserves.This handsome boy has quite the personality! Shane is chatty, busy, and loves spending time with his favorite people. He strikes a wonderful balance between playful and affectionate—happy to chase a toy one minute and settle in for cuddles the next.Shane has made it clear that he'd prefer to be the only feline in his home, though he may do well with a cat-respectful dog. Because he is a confident kitty who knows what he likes, he'll thrive with an adopter who has experience reading and respecting feline body language. In the right home, Shane will reward his people with plenty of conversation, entertainment, and affection. OTHER PETS: Shane prefers to be your only kitty.
