Description
Who doesn't love ice cream? Especially when it has fudge in it! Fudge is a beautiful, incredibly smart, and endlessly curious, girlie girl. She loves to follow her people around the house, while still maintaining her confident and independent nature. "What? I didn't follow you; you walked ahead of me!" Fudge gets along well with the family dogs, frequently found lying in the middle of the kitchen floor amongst them. While she loves her brother Chip (currently unavailable due to food allergies), Fudge is respectful of other cats but would probably be fine as an only cat, as long as her people are not gone too long during the day. When it's playtime, watch out! Fudge's favorite wand toys bring out her inner athlete! Despite her delightfully curvy figure, she can leap impressively high with amazing hang time that will keep you laughing. Fudge is listed as special needs because she is a rare gem indeed. Fudge was born with only one uterine horn and one kidney (uterus unicornus and ipsilateral renal agenesis). According to AVMA Journals, this occurs in less than 1 per 1000 cats. Just like humans, Fudge will need to have her kidney values checked annually. Soon after her second spay, exploratory surgery to find the other ovary at 8 months of age, Fudge developed FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). She was diagnosed quickly, treated and cured. Fudge is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and negative for FeLV/FIV. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, entertaining companion with plenty of personality, this little girl is ready to steal your heart. Please apply to meet her today.
