BIO Hello! My name is Rocky. I am house trained and crate trained. You do not need to crate me when you cannot supervise me. I am a mature guy and not destructive. I love getting attention from everyone I meet. I am quiet when strangers come to visit and warm up quickly when we are properly introduced. I enjoy being close to my family. I sure do love those butt scratches.I have met a lot of other dogs and I am friendly. I do get very excited; we are working on my manners when greeting other dogs. I love going for walks, especially when I can sniff around. I do pull a bit when I see other dogs because I am so excited. I live with cats here at my foster home. I usually ignore them. I don’t chase them. I just don’t like it when they try to steal foster mom away. I really like soft toys, but they don’t stand a chance. I like to play fetch with balls and squeaky toys. I even put all my toys away in my crate. I know lots of commands. I like to show off when you ask me to do them. Foster mom says I am incredibly smart and a quick learner.I would love to find a home with a family that has a yard and maybe a resident dog that likes to play. I could be an only dog, if you are home more often than not and can provide the activities and training to continue to help me become the best dog I can be. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
