Did you know cats can get asthma? This jet-black beauty with exotic green eyes and silky fur is considered special needs and requires oral medication twice daily, every 12 hours — which she takes like a champ! Born mid-August 2024, Little Love came to me in October after Hurricane Helene weighing barely over a pound. She was so tiny it took until January 2025 for her to be big enough to be spayed. She was quickly adopted but returned after a couple months — a home with three young boys was too much energy for this gentle lady. In June 2025 she developed frightening labored breathing and was diagnosed with asthma. Since then she has lived with both kittens and adult cats and gets along with them, but she would truly thrive as your only pet in a calm, subdued home — ideally with a retired individual/couple or someone who works from home. Little Love is easy-going and undemanding, but treasures companionship. She loves cat naps solo or on your lap, isn't much of a talker, and isn't a big foodie — just dry kibble with a dab of wet food or purée on top. Her purr motor runs on high and she is happiest with her humans. Her perfect match: Someone who can reliably give oral meds every 12 hours — you will literally save her life. In return, she will be your shadow, your perfect companion, and your constant source of comfort. Do you have a little love to share with Little Love? Please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com
