Hi!  My name is Joanne and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my puppies were picked up by animal control and taken to a small rural shelter where all my puppies were either adopted or rescued leaving me behind by myself.  Unfortunately, my stray hold time came and went and with the shelter being so full, I ended up on a bad thing called the list and my time was up, but then a shelter volunteer reached out to BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I was pulled just in the nick of time and boy was I happy to get out of that place (see my shelter picture below which is the last one as compared to now :)   I appear to be a golden retriever mix, maybe with a little shepherd mixed in, but my foster mom says my personality is all golden as I love getting attention and being with people.  I am around 3 years old and weigh right about 40lbs.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met in my foster home, both small and large, as well as I have not bothered the cats here.  I do really well in a crate without any accidents, tearing up of any bedding or barking; however, I would really, really prefer to be out with you.  I am good on leash as it means we are going on an adventure together.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
