After thorough veterinary care confirmed that Barney was perfectly healthy, he still had one hurdle left—losing his siblings left him heartbroken. He stopped eating until he was welcomed into a foster home filled with playful kitten friends, where his spark (and his appetite!) came right back.Today, Barney is a joyful, fearless little guy who lives life at full speed. He starts every play session, climbs anything he can reach, and has perfected the art of hiding in grocery sacks before popping out to surprise his favorite humans. When playtime is over, he’s all about cuddles and will happily curl up in your lap, purring for hours.Barney would thrive in a home with another playful cat or an energetic dog. He’s confident enough to remind the resident cats who’s boss with an occasional tiny hiss, but he was wonderfully calm and accepting when meeting his foster’s small dogs.After everything he’s overcome, Barney deserves a forever family where he’ll never have to be alone again.
