Hi!  My name is Cody and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up and no on came to get me, I was going to be placed on something bad called "the list" 'cause the shelter was full.  Fortunately for me, one of the volunteers reached out to BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I am a little shy when I meet new people, but give me a little time (some treats also help) and I will learn I can trust you and then I love getting attention.  I appear to be a chihuahua mix maybe w/ a little terrier, and at around 2 years old I currently weigh a little over 16lbs and shouldn't get any bigger.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats that I have encountered.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding although I would prefer to be out with you.  I really enjoy getting regular meals and the treats are pretty good, too.  I am ok on leash but I do need to learn to trust you first; I would love to have a yard to run around in and explore.
