Little One is a very chatty, beautiful 6-year-old kitty looking for the perfect home! One of her most obvious characteristics is her strikingly unique coat. It is a lovely blend of multiple colors, similar to both a tortoiseshell and tabby, making her a perfect "torbie".This pretty one is a sweetie that will steal your heart in one meow!She appreciates the quiet side of life and is perfectly content to lounge about all day with or without you. Little One is content with her own company; she understands if you must be gone for a while with work or other life events.When you do return, she will be very chatty as she tells you about her day (or demanding treats and pets). She will alternate between napping in various cozy spots and observing nature through her window perch. At the end of day, she will snuggle up beside your pillow and sleep soundly with you.Little One has generally calm and predictable behavior. She will respect your plants andfurniture, as they are of no interest to her. She does have an enthusiasm for exploring a good cardboard box and enjoys using her floor scratch pad. She also uses the litter box well, but does prefer it to be very clean. When you initiate, she will appreciate a good wand toy play session but does not seek it out on her own. She does not love being picked up, but will tolerate it. Due to an old injury, Little One walks on her “wrist” more than her paws. It does not cause her any pain and gives her a cute, distinctive stride.This beautiful lady does have sensitive skin that can lead to skin allergies, which causes her to scratch at herself frequently. Her forever humans should be committed to helping keep her as comfortable as possible with a clean, dust-free home, and working with her vet on ongoing treatment (she does have medication for her allergies). Vacuuming regularly and using an air purifier will also really help.Little One’s ideal home would be a smaller-sized home with adults and/or older, cat-savvy children. She is very friendly with people but can be bullied by other animals. A no-other-animal home will allow Little One to thrive in her independence and show you her best self.Little One is a lover who will love you as much as you love her.
