Description
Meet Hawk and Maisie, a 3-month-old, brother/sister meowdel-worthy duo! These sweethearts are looking for a quiet and gentle home to continue to learn how amazing scritches are and show off all their wand toy chasing skills! Maisie is a little reserved at first but secretly a total spitfire. Something about her wise eyes seems like she “knows things”. I don’t know what she knows exactly, but she’s definitely assessing me and planning things; I’m sure of it. She’s truly stunning and has a very expressive face, a little “how to train your dragon”-like at times. And boy, is this girl FAST. Her tiny little legs get ripping around under her and she can get to the birdie wand while bowling over one of her brothers, no problem! If she wants to, that is. Maisie often observes for a bit before she strikes. I’m totally determined to her earn her love and feel confident that I’m winning her over slowly, with some top notch back scritches; her little leggies push her butt up involuntarily until she realizes she’s showing me she likes it . Hawk was named in hopes of the kitty he could become some day, but there are actually few hawk-like elements to this guy! Speed? No. Agility? No. Cunning? Still no. So unfortunately, whoever adopts him will most surely have to change his name: may I suggest. “Oh honey” or “you did your best” as nicknames? All kidding aside, Hawk is ridiculously soft while he plays on the floor, and he thinks his paws belong in the water bowl (which I’m pretty sure he learned from his brother Gibson). This boy also thinks he’s tough and gives a lot of hilarious facial expressions, but the second you hold him he goes limp. He is indeed a liquid floppy cat. Hawk is a sensitive emo-boy and so sweet! Maisie & Hawk would like a home that helps build their confidence as they continue growing into their purrfect personalities! They are okay with other cats, could be fine with a low-energy, cat-savvy dog with proper intros, and will do best with gentle, respectful kids ages 12 and up (or in an adults-only home). These two are scheduled for spay & neuter on July 23rd, and can go home after healing time. If you’d like to see more on personality you can see them on their Foster’s social media pages: Instagram: kittyfosterroxanne or Facebook: Kitty Foster Roxanne MN.There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
