JIPSY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Jipsy          Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix  Best Guess for Age:  9 years as of July 2026          SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 4.7 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Jipsy may not go to a home with children under the age of 12.    Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special adoption considerations:    Jipsy is scared and shy and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.   Jipsy is Looking For:  Through no fault at all of her own, Jipsy landed in the shelter. She is scared and confused, and wants nothing more than to be in a loving home, to know where she belongs. She needs extra patient and loving adopters who understand she is so small and the world is so big, and she's been through a lot of change at her age, and give her what she needs to settle in. A friendly resident dog to show her around will make a big difference. No loud, chaotic homes, please - no teacup children who may scare her too.    Nine isn't ancient for such a small dog. She's got life to live yet - meandering sniffy walks, and snuggles. Definitely lots of snuggles with her new humans. What do you say? Are you her next - and last - chapter? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has spent time in foster care,  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
