Looking for a sweet, quiet, laid back girl? Maya is your kitty! She also enjoys petting, neck/chin scratches and will likely come lay next to you on the couch. However she is fine to just do her own thing as well. She is a champ in the litter box and has large beautiful green eyes!The bonus with adopting Maya is that she has had a full mouth teeth extraction with the exception that she still has all 4 canines. This mean she will likely never need a dental again. Maya eats very well and actually prefers dry food to can food! She is 7 years old.Maya is lonely and very much needs someone to love her. She was surrendered by her original adopter because they could not afford the much needed dental.No dogs or kids, other than teenagers or grandkids that would be gentle with her. No dogs. She might do fine with another very mellow, easy going cat. She shares a bedroom now with an extremely energetic older kitten that is too crazy- playful for her easy going nature.Maya can be visited in south Fort Collins.CEP   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under)    $150 for cats (older than 6 months)    $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
