Freedom Ride for Layla! ❤️ Layla is officially out of the shelter and on her way to her foster home! This sweet girl is about 3 years old and weighs 53 pounds. After meeting her today, our foster shared that Layla was friendly, affectionate, and full of love. Now it's time for the next important step—decompression. Layla has already experienced the heartbreak of being adopted twice and returned to the shelter twice. Because of that, we're committed to taking our time to truly get to know her. We'll be evaluating her personality, learning what environment she thrives in, and making sure we find the right forever home this time—not just the first one. For now, Layla will be settling into foster care, decompressing, and enjoying the chance to finally relax outside of the shelter. She deserves the opportunity to feel safe, build trust, and let her true personality shine. As she settles in, we'll continue to share updates on her progress, personality, and the type of home we believe will help her thrive.
