Gillian is a gentle, reserved sweetheart who prefers to take the world at her own pace. While her brave sister Kylie charges ahead into every new adventure, Gillian watches thoughtfully, then follows with quiet confidence. She loves staying close to her human, finding comfort in warm laps, soft voices, and familiar hands. Once she feels safe, her personality begins to bloom—soft purrs, delicate playfulness, and a tender curiosity that shows just how special she is. Gillian may be shy at first, but with patience and love, she becomes a deeply loyal companion who adores being part of her human’s everyday moments. We are hoping the sisters stay together has they have bonded. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society. The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
