Description
Birthday: May 5, 2025 Wembley had such a rough start when he arrived to the rescue. He and his brother spent many moneys living inside of a tent and never socialized with any humans. When rescuers found them, they did their best to safely trap them to bring them inside. The two boys were shy and terrified at these strange newcomers, but they were captured. When Wembley was brought to his foster home, he panicked and sustained an injury to his elbow. He was quickly rushed to the vet, where he received the necessary surgery, and he has recovered amazingly. As a result, however, he now walks with a limp. However, his injury doesn't stop him from acting like a normal cat! Wembley loves to climb cat tress, and he can do so with ease. His ideal home would be a quiet environment where he feels safe with a kitty friend! Because of his situation, we think it would be best if he went to a home with no young children or dogs. He's still shy and will need some time and patience. He does show some potential to become an affectionate kitty though! Wembley’s love language is churus and wet food. He's a food-motivated boy who will come running to his foster if she has one in hand. As she is preparing his breakfast, he will weave in and out of her legs like he's practicing for a driver's test! As he's slowly coming around to humans, he's been hooking up with kitty friends. He loves to hang out and lay next to kitties his age. It's his safety zone, and it's something that's familiar to him. In the right home, he has the potential to be an amazing addition to any household that fits his criteria! Wembley's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
