  ​Meet Blythe & Bakersfield Two shy kittens. One special bond. And a whole lot of potential. ❤️ Blythe and Bakersfield are bonded kittens who met at the shelter and have been growing up together since June. They're sweet, playful and curious, but they need a patient, experienced cat person to help them become the confident kitties they're meant to be. Blythe is the black kitten with the adorable marking on her chest. She's shy at first but warms up with Churu, treats and playtime. Once she relaxes, she'll accept pets and has even been known to purr! Bakersfield is the white-and-tabby boy and the shyer of the two. He needs a little more time and encouragement, but his playful side comes out with treats and the noodle toy. He's learning that human attention can be pretty wonderful. Together, they're each other's safe place. They've grown up side by side in the shelter, and we'd love to see them finally get the chance to grow into confident, happy cats in a home of their own. ​ These aren't instant lap kittens. They're a trust-building project with a very rewarding payoff. A quieter home, patience, longer visits, Churu and gentle play will help them come out of their shells. If you're an experienced cat person willing to let trust happen at their pace, Blythe and Bakersfield may be the pair you've been waiting for.
