Description

Phoenix is a very lucky little survivor. She's a white homing pigeon, the type bred, used (and too often lost) for "dove releases". Phoenix was extremely lucky in that when she wound up badly injured, she was found and taken to a shelter whose staff was dedicated to giving her a chance. (Most would have just euthanized her.) With a lot of care and time, she healed up beautifully and now has been adopted into a loving home with a handsome homing pigeon mate and a family to care for her.
