A Dixie

Dixie is available for adoption. She is 9 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $550.00   Dixie is an 9-year-old, 7-pound little beauty with silky fur and the most gorgeous coloring. She is also an incredibly sweet and well-behaved girl. Dixie is a true Velcro pup. She is happiest in your arms or curled up on your lap and would gladly stay there all day. She will walk outside, but she much prefers to be carried. She has absolutely no interest in the grass, which is why I lovingly call her Dixie Diva. She can be a little unpredictable about food. Some mornings she will eat breakfast and some mornings she will not. She enjoys eggs—sometimes! The same goes for treats: one day she wants one, and the next day she may politely refuse. One of the cutest things about Dixie is the way she gives kisses. She kisses like a tiny chicken, gently pecking at your face while her little tail wags away. Every morning when I wake up, she is right there, ready to pounce on me with her happy little pecking kisses. Dixie is pad trained, friendly with everyone, and loves being brushed and petted. She gets along with my two Yorkies and follows them around, although she does not really play with them. Because Dixie wants all the love and attention for herself, she can become a little jealous when the other dogs are being held or petted. I believe she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can be someone’s one and only little princess. She takes no medication and is a very healthy little girl. At night, she sleeps peacefully on my bed right beside me. Dixie does not need much to be happy—just a comfortable lap, loving arms, and plenty of affection. She can also jump onto almost any lap, no matter how high it seems! Most importantly, Dixie is an absolute joy to have around. She is a quiet, loving little girl who brings sweetness and happiness wherever she goes. She would be happiest with someone who is home often and is looking for a devoted little companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.
