She entered animal control as a very young kitten with a tail that had been broken in multiple places. Even though she was clearly in pain, she never stopped purring, winning over everyone who met her. The damage to her tail was too severe to repair, so it was completely amputated, leaving Tootie proudly sporting a perfectly tailless behind.Don't let the missing tail fool you—she hasn't missed a beat.After surgery, Tootie recovered in a loving foster home where she quickly made friends with both cats and dogs. She's an independent, confident little lady who enjoys stretching out in a warm patch of sunshine one moment and causing harmless kitten mischief the next. Whether she's chasing toys, investigating every corner of the house, or showing off her signature tortie attitude, she lives life to the fullest.Like many tortoiseshell cats, Tootie has opinions, and she's not afraid to share them. She appreciates affection on her terms, enjoys the company of other furry companions, and would likely thrive in a home with respectful cats or dogs.
