Birthdays: November 1, 2018 Cassie and Vader are a bonded brother-and-sister pair who are looking for a loving home. They were originally put outside after their owner could no longer care for them and survived together for several months until winter approached. They were then taken in through an owner surrender, and despite everything they’ve been through, they remain two of the sweetest, most loving cats we’ve ever met. Cassie is a beautiful dilute calico with big, beautiful, expressive eyes and the gentlest soul. She can be timid when she’s unsure of a new environment, but she has never shown any aggression toward people. She absolutely adores children and has a calm, peaceful nature. She loves playing with her toys and with her brother, Vader, and when she’s ready, she’ll come to you for snuggles on her own terms. She greets you with loud purrs and has a heart as beautiful as her coat. Vader is a handsome orange-and-white shorthair who lives for affection. The moment you walk through the door, he’ll run to greet you, already purring before you even pick him up. He loves to be held, wants to curl up in your lap whenever he can, and insists on snuggling at bedtime. If he feels like he isn’t getting enough attention, he’ll let you know with his adorable, dramatic meows and little pouts. He is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to his people. Both Cassie and Vader are wonderful with people, especially children. They are very loving in their own unique ways but can be timid when they’re afraid, so they’ll do best with a patient family willing to give them gentle love and time to settle in. Because of their past experiences, they do not do well with other cats or dogs. They will need to be the only pets in their forever home. They are deeply bonded and rely on one another for comfort, so they must be adopted together. These two truly are the purest, sweetest cats you'd ever meet. They have endured more than they ever should have, yet they continue to greet every day with love, trust, loud purrs, and affectionate hearts. If you’re looking for two companions who will fill your home with unconditional love, Cassie and Vader are ready to give you everything they have. All they ask in return is a safe home, a little patience, and a family to love them for the rest of their lives.
