Birthday: June 29, 2024 Sussurra is as quiet and timid as a whisper, but she has a loving heart that keeps growing each day.  After hearing the girl meow and hiss very quietly, it seemed only necessary to name her Sussura ("whisper" in Italian). She was found wandering around a trailer park, trying to find someone to let her inside their home. She was part of a cat colony that was cared for by an older gentleman.  The cats were fixed, and he would bring food to them on a regular basis. Sadly, he passed away, leaving the cats to fend for themselves. Then, one day, a young person who was visiting the colony saw her and brought her back home.  They contacted LCCR, and now here she is, ready to find a home! Sussurra has found a balance between her time and human time. She can be a bid timid, but she will come right out once she explores her surroundings. Seeing how she was raised in a cat colony, she decided she was done hanging out with so many cats.  She's hoping she can be the only kitty at her new home.  If her new family already has a kitty, but they are chill and respect her space, then she's totally fine with that too! As of now, her foster home has way too many kitties for her liking, and some of them have personalities that she isn't thrilled about.  Now just because Sussurra enjoys her independence, that doesn't mean she doesn't like lovin'! In fact, she loves to spend time with humans.  She loves to be petted and brushed, basking in the attention she would rarely get outside. If there are humans sitting on the floor, she will join them, admiring the company.  She will sometimes even sit on their laps! She loves her canned food, fresh water, and clean litterbox; something she never got while she was outside. Sussurra is just a girl who is happy just lounging around and playing quietly with toys.  If you want to really win her heart, have some wand toys for her! You'll see this girl spring to life, jump and roll around with them! Sussurra's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
