Description

Storm (A142772) is a 5-year-old Weimaraner who weighed 70 pounds on intake! 07/13/26 Storm was surrendered to the shelter due to her prior owner moving and being unable to keep her. Storm was said to be housebroken (sits by door or in front of you), kennel trained and knows quite a few tricks as well! Storm can be a bit nervous meeting new dogs but will warm up with appropriate introductions. She does prefer the company of more mature, calmer dogs rather than overly rambunctious pups. Storm has lived with other dogs in her prior home and was said to do well with all of them once she was properly introduced. She will chase cats, so it is recommended that she does not go to a home with cats or smaller critters. Storm was said to do well with children but has no experience around babies. She is cautious when meeting strangers but warms up quickly. Storm can get a bit anxious at times and would benefit from plenty of enrichment as well as exercise in her new home.
