Some dogs are surrendered because of behavior.Some because of health.And sometimes... life simply changes.Bishop was given as a heartfelt gift, and while his family loves him dearly, life's circumstances have changed in ways they couldn't have anticipated. They made the difficult decision to find him a home where he can continue to thrive.Now we're helping this handsome Standard Poodle find his perfect match. Born: October 25, 2025 Weight: 45 pounds Color: Merle A little about Bishop: Smart, affectionate, and eager to learn Loves to run, play, and burn off that puppy energy Still thinks he's a lap dog—even at 45 pounds! Has done well with children and is especially protective of "his kids" His favorite treats? Veggies and ice cubes! He's already learned: Mostly potty trained Crate trained (although he'd much rather hang out with his people!) We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
