Isla is a 1 year old female Hound/Shepherd mix with the perfect combination of playful energy and a loving heart. This sweet, friendly girl absolutely loves spending time with her people and is happiest when she can be a part of whatever the day has in store. At about 35 pounds, Isla is the ideal small-to-medium size to accompany you wherever life takes you. Whether it's a walk through the park, a weekend road trip, or simply relaxing at home, she will be right by your side with her happy spirit and wagging tail. Isla is always ready for a little fun, but once the adventure is over, she is just as content soaking up pets and quality time with her favorite humans. She has the kind of affectionate charm that makes every day a little brighter. Isla has also done well meeting the cats at the shelter, adding to her gentle, easygoing nature. The adoption fee covers the spay/neuter surgery, a 1-year rabies shot, a da2ppv shot (canine distemper/parvo vaccine), heartworm test, deworming and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. Phone: 770-214-3590. Please note: The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
