Description

"Swiss" cheese is now in NJ and available for adoption Meet Swiss Cheese — the last little nugget of her litter still waiting for her forever home.   This beautiful girl was pulled from the shelter by our sister rescue, and while all her siblings have found their families, Swiss Cheese is still patiently waiting for hers. Currently around 15 pounds, this adorable terrier mix is expected to be about 40 to 45 pounds full-grown — the perfect medium-sized companion.   Swiss Cheese is everything you want in a puppy: friendly, playful, and absolutely full of joy. She has the sweetest personality and the kind of energy that makes every day a little brighter. And let’s talk about those ears! They are impossible to ignore and only add to her charm.   Swiss Cheese is settling into her foster home wonderfully. She adores the resident dog and is proving to be great with the kids, too! She is very smart and food-motivated, which is helping her to catch on quickly to house-training and all of the puppy basics. She’s ready to learn, love, and grow up alongside her forever family. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a home where she’ll never be left behind again.   If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with standout ears and an even bigger heart, Swiss Cheese might just be your girl.   Swiss is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. She has been neutered and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $600. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
