Meet Atlas, a handsome Pittie mix puppy with an estimated date of birth of 4/9/26 who's ready to grow up with a family of his very own! Weighing about 18 pounds, Atlas is everything you'd expect from a young puppy: playful, curious, affectionate, and powered by equal parts zoomies and naps. Atlas loves to play, loves to snuggle, and when he's finally worn himself out, he's happy to curl up for a well-earned puppy snooze. He's making great progress with potty training and is already learning that good manners go a long way. Like any young pup, he'll need continued guidance as he grows, but he's eager to learn with patient, positive reinforcement. One thing Atlas would really benefit from is having a well-mannered canine role model in his forever home. A playful adult dog who knows when it's time to wrestle and when it's time to settle would be the perfect teacher. Left to his own devices, Atlas would happily keep the fun going all day, so having a dog who can gently say, "Recess is over," will help him continue learning appropriate boundaries. His foster mom has set him up for success by giving him his own gated puppy space, and Atlas has done wonderfully with it. He sleeps through the night without whining and hasn't had any nighttime accidents, proving he's already building some great habits. Atlas is looking for a cat-free home where he can focus on being the best puppy he can be. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
