Downspout earned his unique name after being discovered trapped inside a gutter downspout. Thanks to a careful rescue and a lot of patience, he was safely brought to the shelter where he's been learning that people aren't so scary after all.Downspout is still a shy little guy and can be a bit skittish when meeting new people or experiencing new environments. He'll need a patient family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. While he may not be the first kitten to run up and demand attention, those who take the time to earn his trust will be rewarded with watching his sweet personality emerge.One thing that helps break the ice? Treats! Downspout is incredibly food motivated, and a few Churu treats can go a long way toward winning him over.
