Bastet aka Cinco Mello

Description

Cinco Mello was surrendered to AVAP after being hit by a car. She underwent extensive surgery to repair two broken legs. It was clear during her long recovery that she had a goofy, affectionate personality, something that has only grown since she's healed! This led to her re-naming as Bastet, the Egyptian goddess of the home. She loves coming in hot for a cuddle (especially if you have a soft blanket for her to make biscuits and suckle on), but is then content to nap in her special basket nearby. She's vocal, and loves sharing her opinions around meal time. Bastet is social and friendly with other cats, and loves playing chase and snuggling for naps with her foster bestie Felicity. She will thrive in a home where she has friends to keep her agile mind engaged while you're away at work. But don't worry - she'll be right there to greet you when you get home!
