Betty is a classy, demure lady. Even in the most anxiety-inducing moments for cats-being in a new environment, traveling in a car, being tightly held for nail trims-Betty will never, ever claw or bite you. The best description of her would probably be a girls' girl. She is vocal and clearly communicates her feelings but perfectly respects your boundaries.She is a perfect companion-her favorite activity is sleeping near her human, and she loves being pet. Other cats may get overstimulated from being constantly pet or getting their belly rubbed, but Betty's only problem is that she can't get enough pets and scratches, including on her tummy and tail. Her current record is being pet for TWENTY straight minutes, only stopping because her foster mom's arms were getting tired.She really is one in a million in terms of cats and is the utmost perfect baby for anyone who takes the time to get to know her. She loves sleeping in cat beds or window hammocks, and loves to paw at wand/teaser toys. She is shy and a bit fearful at first, hiding during the first few days, but she will have zero problem with any human who comes close to her and gives her gentle ear/chin scratches. She absolutely loves humans, but she will need a gentle introduction with any resident cats due to her shy nature.
