Meet Mama Tilly! Mama Tilly is an approximately 2-year-old mixed breed with the perfect blend of playful and mellow. She has a gentle soul who loves being with her people and is happiest when she’s outside soaking up the fresh air. Whether she’s chasing a ball, playing tug, or proudly de-stuffing a squeaky toy, she’s always ready for a little fun before settling in for pets and cuddles. Tilly can be a little anxious in new situations and may bark when unfamiliar people first enter the home, but she settles quickly once she realizes everything is okay. She’s incredibly tolerant and trusting, allowing baths, nail trims, paw handling, car rides, and even boating with ease, despite being a little unsure at first. She has done well with every person she’s met and gets along nicely with other dogs. While she enjoys playing respectfully, she’s also happy doing her own thing and appreciates dogs that understand her boundaries. She would likely do best with a companion who isn’t overly pushy, and because she has a strong prey drive, a home without small animals may be the best fit. Tilly has excellent recall and loves spending time outdoors, making her a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, camping, or exploring. She’s still working on her leash manners, but she’s smart, eager to learn, and has already shown she picks things up quickly.
