Meet Athena! Athena is a 2 year old petite pittie with a heart as big as her smile. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, look no further, this sweet girl always wants to be close to her people. Whether it's curling up on the couch, following you from room to room, or resting her head in your lap, Athena is happiest when she's by your side. She has the funniest personality and the best zoomies! Once she feels comfortable, her goofy side shines through, and she's guaranteed to keep you laughing with her playful antics. Athena can be a little shy when meeting men, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, she truly blossoms into the loving, affectionate dog she was meant to be. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. She gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion who can help show her the joys of being a dog. Having another dog around gives Athena comfort and helps bring out her playful side. We will prioritize apps who have another dog as this is what’s best for Athena! Athena is still getting used to spending time in a crate and will need a family that's willing to continue helping her build positive associations with it. She has already made huge strides and is crated at her foster home for bedtime and while they’re out of the house.  If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will make you laugh, snuggle every chance she gets, and love you with her whole heart, Athena is waiting to meet you.
