Description

If you're looking for a puppy with the perfect blend of sweetness, curiosity, and cuddles, Winnie may be the one you've been waiting for!At just 11 weeks old, this adorable Lab and Terrier mix is already winning hearts everywhere she goes. Winnie is a thoughtful little girl who likes to take in the world around her. You can almost see her tiny brain working as she studies new situations before happily joining in. She loves to snuggle with her people just as much as she loves exploring the yard with her sister or heading out for a new adventure.Winnie has settled beautifully into her foster home. She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, keeps it clean, and is generally very quiet. She is also making great progress with house training and is well on her way to becoming a wonderful companion. One of Winnie's most special qualities is her gentle nature. She is amazing with children, even toddlers, and is patient, playful, and incredibly affectionate with everyone she meets. Her foster family says people fall in love with her almost instantly, and it's easy to see why.Like any young puppy, Winnie is still learning about the world. She can be a little shy when meeting unfamiliar dogs, but she has done well with her littermate and is gaining confidence through daily walks and outings. Slow introductions to new canine friends will help her continue to blossom.Winnie is eager to please and loves being close to her people. She naturally sticks by her foster on walks and around the yard, making it seem like she's already practicing her heel. She also has a funny habit of stretching out on her back for naps in the yard because she feels so safe and relaxed. And if you happen to have some chicken, you've definitely found the way to her heart! Her favorite things include squeaky toys, tasty treats, exploring, and plenty of cuddle time. She enjoys walks and play sessions, but she's equally happy curling up for a long puppy nap after an adventure.Winnie is doing wonderfully in her foster home, is crate trained, and is looking for a family that will continue helping her build confidence while giving her all the love she deserves. In return, you'll get an incredibly loyal, intelligent, and affectionate best friend. If you are interested in Winnie, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550.
