To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 3 months (as of 7/6/2026) Weight: 5 lbs (as of 6/30/2026) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Blossom, a delightful puppy with a heart full of joy. Blossom and her sister Cherry are known for their sweet and gentle nature. Their mom is a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but we don’t know about dad. These active pups playful spirit shines brightest when they’re romping around with their beloved toys, showcasing their smart and friendly demeanor. They are friendly with everyone they meet including other dogs and kids, and seem interested in cats in a playful way. Blossom's ability to quickly learn new tricks impresses everyone she meets. Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Adopting Blossom or Cherry means bringing home a bundle of love who will fill your days with laughter and companionship. They are the perfect addition to any family looking for a playful and affectionate friend. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
