Nala

Looking for a home for Nala!   Nala is an approximately 5-year-old, 26-pound mixed-breed girl (possibly with some Rat Terrier or Miniature Pinscher mixed in). She’s the perfect medium-energy companion: friendly, outgoing, and absolutely loves every person she meets!   Nala gets along wonderfully with dogs her size or smaller. She can be a little defensive around larger dogs with rambunctious or dominant play styles, so she’d do best with calmer large dogs. She’s also cat-neutral, mostly ignoring them.   This sweet girl is potty trained, crate trained, and settles quietly in her crate like a pro. She walks nicely on a leash, though she does have a tendency to pull a bit (we’re working on that!). While she hasn’t been kid-tested, she’s so gentle, friendly, and submissive with people that we think she’d likely do very well with children.   Nala isn’t a chewer or destructive in the home, making her an easy houseguest and an even better family member.   Now for her one quirky flaw: she HATES cars. Riding in them? Nope. Watching them drive by on walks? Also nope. And 18-wheelers? Her sworn enemies. Why? Maybe she’s a passionate environmentalist. Maybe she once had a dramatic showdown with a rogue trucker worthy of a Stephen King novel. We’ll probably never know, but she would be a great companion for anyone with a bus pass!   Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed this month.
