Whether he's romping around the yard, chasing squeaky toys and tennis balls, or wrestling with his sister Frida, he gives everything his all. After a good play session, he's more than happy to stretch out for a well-earned puppy nap.One of Franklin's funniest habits is making sure he never misses out on attention. If he sees someone petting his sister, he comes trotting over right away to claim his share of the love. He adores people and is happiest when he's in the middle of whatever is going on. His foster family recently took him to an event at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, where he quickly became a crowd favorite thanks to his friendly personality and love of meeting new people.Franklin gets along well with other dogs and greets them with a wagging tail. He loves kids and happily soaks up all the affection they have to offer. He hasn't met cats yet, so his compatibility with feline friends is still unknown.Like any young puppy, Franklin is still learning the basics. He's making great progress with potty training and currently sleeps in a large x-pen with an open crate, giving him the freedom to come and go as he pleases. He has lots of playful puppy energy and will thrive with a family that's excited to continue his training, socialization, and adventures.Franklin is an all-around good boy with a big heart, a playful spirit, and just the right amount of goofy charm. His foster lovingly describes him as "a bit of a meathead" in the very best way. He's fearless, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
