Hello! I’m Beverly or Bev for short. I am an incredibly gorgeous sweet and mellow girl with beautiful bright blue eyes and very soft fur. I am a very low-maintenance gal who just likes to be near you, regardless of what you're doing, because I just want to be a real part of your family. I don't have much interest in playing with toys and would rather watch out a window to watch the birds & butterflies from a sunny spot or from atop a cat tower. I would be a great companion for someone who works from home so we can spend a lot of time together. I have tolerated other animals in a foster home, but you and I will be happiest if I'm your only fur-kid. There is one more thing that you need to know about me, and that is that I require prescription urinary cat food for the rest of my life. I came to CAWS because I had a very large bladder stone that my previous owner was aware of, but did nothing to help me with that. Eventually, it got bad enough that they took me to the vet to be euthanized, because they were unwilling to provide the surgery or the food for me. I know, it broke my heart too, but the surgery went great & with the correct diet, which doesn't cost much more than any quality cat food, I still have 8 of my 9 lives left to share with you.
