  ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** This beautiful boy loves pets, soft brushes, and treats. He does not like it when strange people stand over him, but will be all over you if you sit down - especially if you have treats or a brush in hand! Clovis was living outside when he was trapped to be neutered and released. However, he turned out to be super friendly and affectionate once he was at the vet clinic, and he kept being that way even after the drugs wore off. Clovis would like to be an indoor pet now. He is still learning what to do with some cat toys, but is all over the catnip-filled fish we gave him. Clovis is a little nervous about being out in the open, which is a survival trait that served him well until now. He doesn’t understand yet that his days of needing to hide are over. Fortunately, he is easy to bribe and distract!  Clovis is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
