Description
Hello, my name is Hazelnut! Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m a playful, curious bunny who absolutely loves to zoom and binky—I’d be so happy in a home where I can enjoy lots of free-roam time to show off my happy hops. I’m pretty good with my litter box, though I may leave a few cocoa puffs here and there (I am a bunny, after all!). I do best with a litter box in both my enclosure and play area so I always have one nearby while I’m having fun. I’m still learning what “head pets” are all about, but I’m very friendly at my level—I’ll happily hop over to say hello, especially if you have a tasty treat to share! Speaking of treats, I absolutely love my daily greens, endless fresh hay (third-cut timothy and orchard grass are my favorites!), and my pellets each morning and evening. I adjust to new environments pretty quickly, but like most bunnies, I just need a little time to build trust with my humans. Don’t worry—snacks will definitely help you win me over! I’m also quite the talented jumper, so a taller exercise pen would be best for me unless I get to free roam (which would be amazing!). I’m young, full of energy, and have lots of spunky personality, so I’ll need plenty of time to explore and play outside my pen. I’ve shown interest in the other rabbits in my foster home, so I might enjoy having a bunny friend if we’re a good match. I promise to bring lots of joy, smiles, and adorable antics into your life with my fun-loving personality! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male (neutered) Exact birthdate: 9/28/2025 Approximate weight: 4 lbs Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
