Description

Hi! I’m Walnut a curious and adventurous bunny who loves lots of runtime so I can explore and run I do lots of binkies!! I’m always around my mom, Abby, and we do a lot of snuggling so we must be adopted together. She is my rock! I’m very people-friendly and love being petted-I’ll happily sit there and soak up the affection for quite a while.  I love to snuggle under blankets, so I will need a couple! I have not met any other animals. Whenever I spot you, I just know snacks or a tasty reward are coming my way! I’m highly driven by food, so it won’t take long for you to win me over. I do enjoy chewing, so having plenty of chew toys helps to keep me busy. I especially like chewing on my Hidey box. My litter box habits are pretty good, and I’m happy to eat all kinds of vegetables. My five siblings and I were born in rescue, so I’ve only ever known a loving foster home, which has helped me feel comfortable and at ease around my foster mom. If you’re looking for an affectionate duo to add to your family, we would love to meet you. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (spayed) Exact birthdate: 9/28/2025 Approximate weight: 4.81 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.        If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
