With his classic Golden Retriever "velcro" personality, Flint wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or heading out on an adventure, Flint will happily be your loyal shadow. Flint loves people of all ages and has a sweet, affectionate nature that makes him an instant favorite. He does well with most other dogs, although because he was only recently neutered, he may not be the best match for unaltered male dogs while his hormones have time to settle. This smart boy already has great manners. He knows how to use the dog door, does wonderfully in his kennel, and appears to be house broken. He's ready to transition right into family life with very little adjustment. Flint is looking for a family that will shower him with love and let him be part of everything they do. If you're searching for a devoted companion who will happily stick by your side through life's adventures, Flint is ready to become the heart of your home. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
