Description
Hi! My name is Annie and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list" 'cause they were all full up. Fortunately, a volunteer with BCAA saw me and said they could help me ... yeah! I am still on the shy side but everyone has been so nice to me I am starting to come out of my shell and my foster mom says I'm such a sweet girl with a loving personality to match my beautiful self. The vet fels I am about 8 months old and at just a tad over 26lbs now, I should probably be a medium-sized dog once I reach adulthood. I have gotten along with all of the other foster dogs I have met and have a lot of fun playing with them; I also haven't paid much attention to the cats I've encountered. While I would prefer to be out with you, I have done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding. I enjoy my food and treats which I take gently. I'm still learning about that thing called a leash so until I do, I need a fenced yard in order to take care of my business and explore. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
