About Beigey  Beigey is neutered, microchipped, litter box trained, and is looking for his forever indoor-only home. For over a year, Beigey was a familiar face in my neighborhood. Every day he would stop by for food and spend his days relaxing nearby, but he always kept his distance. No matter how many times he saw me, if I opened my front door or tried to get close, he would quietly run away. Everything changed the day I noticed he was limping. For the very first time, instead of running away, Beigey walked right up to me. He let me pet him, rubbed against my legs, followed me to my front door, and even let me pick him up. It was as if he knew he needed help. I brought him to the veterinarian, where they discovered an abscess in his front leg. After treatment and a few days of recovering safely indoors, I realized something incredible…Beigey isn’t a feral cat at all. He is one of the sweetest, gentlest cats I’ve ever met. He absolutely loves people. He enjoys sitting in your lap, getting pets, making biscuits, stretching out beside you, and simply being part of whatever you’re doing. He happily lets you pick him up, cuddle him, and carry him around. He has never hissed, scratched, or swatted at anyone while in my care. Beigey has also done wonderfully around my two Pomeranians. He isn’t bothered by normal household activity, loud noises, or people walking around him while he’s resting. He’s calm, confident, curious, and adapts quickly to new environments. Beigey would thrive in a home where he can finally enjoy the indoor life he deserves. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy to watch TV with, a companion while you work from home, or a gentle family cat, Beigey has the personality to fit right in.
