Description
Meet Bandit - The Explorer Looking for His Next Adventure!Bandit is a 2-year-old American Foxhound who`s always ready for anadventure! Whether it`s a daily walk, a weekend hike, or a jog around theneighborhood, this energetic guy would love to be your outdoor sidekick. Asa bonus, he heads straight outside to take care of business as soon as heleaves his kennel, so he may already be housetrained.Bandit is friendly and enjoys attention and petting, but he`s not the clingytype. He`s happy to spend time with his people without needing to be in yourlap every second. New people and unfamiliar situations can make him a littleshy at first, but give him a little time and his sweet personality quicklyshines through. This handsome hound has excellent manners, too! He knows sit and leave it,takes treats ever so gently, and walks nicely on leash-as long as theneighborhood dogs aren`t trying to start a barking competition. Toys andtennis balls? He`d rather pass and spend his time exploring the world withthat famous Foxhound nose.Bandit would do best with kids 10 and older because of his size, and a meetand greet with any resident dogs is recommended. If you`re looking for aloyal companion who`s equal parts adventurous, polite, and affectionate,Bandit is ready to follow his nose right into your heart!Bandit recently went on a Doggy Day Out and this is what his volunteer had to say:`I can be a little shy when stepping out into new places, but give me a couple of minutes and youâll see just how sweet and easygoing I am. My ideal day? Hopping in the car (I love car rides!), exploring the park with my humans, sniffing the plants and flowers, and staying by your side. I have wonderful leash manners, I don't bark at passing dogs, and I even politely ignored the ducks at the park pond. When I met a resident cat, I made sure to respect their boundaries and give them plenty of space. Iâm a low-drama, gentle boy with a medium energy levelâI love hanging out near my humans but don't need their constant attention or petting. Could I be the companion you've been searching for?`
