** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. This beautiful 1-year-old Terrier mix weighs about 40 pounds and is the perfect combination of sweet, playful, and gentle. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, her loving personality quickly shines through. Dana gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to help build her confidence. She has a happy, active side that's just waiting to come out as she settles into her new home. This smart girl already knows how to use the dog door and is doing great with her house training. She's eager to learn and would thrive with a family willing to continue working on her leash walking and helping her build confidence in new situations. Dana is looking for an active family that will include her in their adventures while giving her the patience and encouragement she needs to continue growing into the amazing dog she's meant to be. With a little time, love, and positive guidance, she'll reward her family with unwavering loyalty and a lifetime of companionship. If you're searching for a sweet young dog ready to blossom into your very best friend, Dana may be the perfect addition to your family. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
