To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ("Feline Immunodeficiency Virus") and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).    Meet Maya!  At just 12 weeks old, Maya is proof that a little love can change everything. Born outside alongside her siblings, Noah and Natalie, Maya started life unsure of the world around her. After spending the last few weeks in a loving foster home, she has truly blossomed into a sweet, gentle kitten who is learning that people are pretty wonderful. Maya has a calm, easygoing personality and enjoys playing, relaxing, and soaking up attention at her own pace. She gets along great with other cats, is wonderful with kids, and would make a fantastic addition to just about any family looking for a laid-back feline companion.
