Dewey

Description

Meet Dewey Dewey has truly been through it, and he is one of our rare return kittens. He was originally adopted, but sadly was stolen. We believe he may have spent time being held in a feral colony before eventually finding his way back to us. Because of everything he has experienced, Dewey needs a patient, understanding home that will give him the time and consistency he needs to feel safe and truly settle in.But once Dewey starts to trust you, you’ll discover what a fun, affectionate, hilarious character he is!Dewey is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix, with lots of Maine Coon in him, and his beautiful orange coloring only adds to his charm. He has plenty of personality and energy and will keep you laughing, entertained, and definitely on your toes. He is curious, playful, clever, and always ready to see what adventure is happening next.Because Dewey is energetic and enjoys having a feline companion, we think he would do best with an active, playful kitty friend who can keep up with him and help him feel confident. He would absolutely love to be adopted with his buddy Rex, but Dewey is also a social boy who enjoys making new friends.Dewey isn’t looking for just any home — he’s looking for a patient, loving person or family willing to let him decompress, earn his trust, and show him that he is finally safe. In return, you’ll get an incredibly entertaining, lovable orange boy who will bring plenty of personality and joy into your life.If you have room in your heart for a special cat who deserves a second chance, Dewey is ready to meet you. Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
