Mississippi and her pups (NOT YET AVAIL)

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKES 7/9/2026:  Mississippi and her pups! Mississippi (female) - 3 years old - 9.8 pounds Puppies approx DOB 6/1/2026: Attala (female) - 1.6 pounds Lamar (male) 1.10 pounds Lauderdale (female) 1.8 pounds Quitman (male) - 1.12 pounds Yazoo (male) - 1.10 pounds Reason for intake:  This little family came from animal control.  They were part of a seizure operation.  The puppies are eating on their own but until they get a little more comfortable at our rescue, we'll let momma stay with them for a few days.  We'll send her to our vet the week of 7/13/2026, for spaying and everything else she needs.  Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
