At approximately 6 years old, this handsome Lab mix enjoys leisurely walks, playing with his toys, and soaking up all the love and attention his people have to give. He even makes sure each of his toys gets a fair turn, proving what a thoughtful and gentle soul he is.Pete is friendly with both people and other dogs and loves to stop and sniff hello to everyone he meets. He plays well with other dogs but is also perfectly happy entertaining himself when needed. He's a smart boy who learns new things quickly and will thrive in a home that keeps him mentally stimulated with enrichment, training, and interactive play.Pete is crate trained, fully house trained, and loves cuddles just as much as he loves his daily walks. He'll do best in a home where he's an important part of the family—not one where he's left outside by himself. Because he can be overwhelmed by young children, Pete is looking for an adult-only home or one with dog-savvy teenagers.If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with the perfect mix of playful and laid-back, Pete is ready to become your best friend.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
