Meet Hobbes!Hobbes is an adorable 1-year-old, 15-pound pup who may be a Chiweenie or Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix—but whatever his breed, he's 100% charming! This friendly, confident little guy is always ready for his next adventure and wants to be wherever his people are.Hobbes has a fun, animated personality with the most expressive face and eyes. He loves carrying his favorite toys around the house, showing off his hilarious short-legged zoomies, and then flopping into your lap for belly rubs. He's equally happy exploring the world on a walk or relaxing with his favorite humans.He's been friendly with everyone he's met so far and settles nicely in his crate at night, especially with a blanket over it to make it feel cozy. Hobbes appears to be house-trained when let outside regularly, rides well in the car, and already knows "sit." Like any young dog, he'll benefit from continued basic training, especially with leash manners, as he can get excited and pull on walks.Hobbes has a medium-to-low energy level and will do best with daily walks, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. He enjoys other dogs and would likely thrive with a playful canine companion. He's a little too interested in cats and would do best in a cat-free home. Because his experience with young children is unknown, he'd likely be happiest with older, dog-savvy kids or an adult home.If you're looking for a cheerful little sidekick who will keep you smiling with his playful antics, adventurous spirit, and endless affection, Hobbes might just be your perfect match!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
