He’s mature, well-mannered, and happiest just being near his people.Doby is wonderful with other dogs, both big and small, and gets along great with cats too. He’s submissive by nature and definitely not an alpha. He enjoys the company of other animals and has a gentle, loving personality that makes him an easy fit in a home with furry friends.He’s house trained, goes potty outside, doesn’t jump on people, and is a quiet, well-mannered boy. He enjoys playing with other dogs but isn’t hyper or rambunctious. He has a calm, affectionate personality that makes him a joy to be around.Despite spending much of his life confined to a crate, Doby has remained incredibly loving and trusting. All he wants is a family to love him and let him be part of their lives. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Doby is waiting to meet you.Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
